Looking for an affordable and efficient way to keep your plants healthy?

Consider creating your own nutrient-rich fertilizer via composting. Surprisingly, there's a simple and cost-effective method to do this: compost tea.

Here's how to make compost tea using the following ingredients: banana peels, onion skins, eggshells, coffee grounds

Instructions:
• Combine all ingredients in a glass jar or pitcher.
• When the jar is full of compost material, top it off with water.
• Let the mixture steep for 3 to 5 days.
• After steeping, strain the liquid and water your plants using a 1:4 ratio of one part compost tea to four parts water.
• Puree the remaining scraps with water to create a compost smoothie and fertilize your plants with it as well.

Compost tea is like a multivitamin for your plants. It enhances soil health and bolsters their immune systems, helping them ward off pests, diseases and of course reduce your kitchen waste.

Give it a try and watch your lovely plants flourish.
